The Count Out Breath

During the holiday season many people need help keeping their overall health and vitality levels in good shape. By doing this simple breath practice 3-5 times daily, you can quickly increase your energy level and your health.

Sit with a straight spine and take a deep inhalation. As you exhale, count out loud (1,2,3...) until you run out of air and need to take another breath.
Don't strain to get to a higher count. Just count until your breath comfortably runs out.
When you complete your exhalation, repeat the Count Out Breath 3-5 times and note the counts that you end with each time.
Counts that get progressively longer each time mean that you are managing and reserving your energy well. Doing the Count Out Breath daily will help you continue to increase your energy level.
Counts that vary in any way, from higher to lower, mean that you are using your energy reserves. Doing the Count Out Breath daily will boost your energy level.

After doing the Count Out Breath regularly for a couple of weeks, your counts will almost always be increasing.
