If You Have Health Problems Or High Blood Pressure
Check with your doctor if you have any health problems or
discomforts. Ask him/her what practices you should avoid and which ones you
should do in particular — we'll be happy to cooperate.
If you have high blood pressure, avoid the inverted poses of
hatha yoga unless your doctor wants you to do them.
Don't do yoga on a full stomach. Wait three to four hours before
doing postures or the — higher yogas and meditation.
Good times to practice are before breakfast, before lunch, after
work and early evenings. And, the best times are during sunrise or sunset
because of the natural peacefulness of those times.
